I know Alex probably looked this up in a future video but the voice of Cortex in the N. Sane Trilogy is Lex Lang, not Clancy Brown. Lex Lang took over as the voice of Cortex starting with Crash Twinsanity in 2004.

Sadly no, that's not Clancy Brown. It's Lex Lang (who is still a very good voice actor) Clancy Brown was only Cortex in the original Crash 2 (and I think 3, but I'm not positive). The N. Sane trilogy uses the new voice cast from the games like Twinsanity and Crash of the Titans. I'd have loved if they'd gotten Clancy Brown back for this though.

The two problems I often ran into were that vehicles felt stiffer than the original, and that the hitboxes were curved instead of, well, boxes. The second one results in slipping off platform edges while getting hit by things just a little too far to do so.

If you're gonna talk over the ancient game, turn on the subtitles. Also there have been several patches since the games release which DO address a lot of the discrepancies between this and the original games (at least on PC, you can check the changelogs to see what they've done).

So IIRC, the whole trillogy uses the 3rd game's engine, but all the map geometry and everything from the older games was kept. This has led to a few points where the newer physics lead to unnecessarily difficult portions.
