they didn't ruin it, they brought it back to life by bringing it to the next generation, the ones you saw 11 years ago were made by indie game developers that aren't well known, that's why activision cancelled that because they needed to look at the old IP's and that's when they hired Vicarious Visions, Beenox and Toys For Bob to make the remakes and made a new game to keep it true to the classics and to follow the storyline where crash warped ended, naughty dog developers who use to own crash wanted to follow the storyline, you see activision didn't kill the franchise in 2008, universal interactive/vivendi games did that before it was defunct that year, you shouldn't blame activision, blame universal interactive/vivendi games for killing it by creating the post naughty dog games aka the alternate timeline with a different storyline, in wrath of cortex nobody knows how uka uka, cortex and n. tropy escaped the prehistoric prison because they never show it happening when universal created that alternate timeline

​@@mikesalvucci4652 Uka Uka, Cortex, and N. Tropy didn't escape the prehistoric prison before Wrath of Cortex, because that event does NOT happen in the original canon. The original canon is spawned from Warped's Bad Ending (4. Wrath of Cortex, 5. Twinsanity, 6. Crash of The Titans, and 7. Mind over Mutant). The New canon spawns from Warped's Good Ending (4. It's About Time, and 5. Crash Team Rumble).
