So... After spending a FULL HOUR dying in the Gem Route over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER I finally got to the part of the Gem Route with the swinging fire platforms... and got squished by the super-speed bouncing box. RIGHT BACK TO THE FUCKING BEGINNING. At that point, I immediately exited out the game and turned off my PS4. I give up. I welly, truly give up. I cannot 100% this game. I am INSUFFICIENTLY SKILLED to ever, ever, ever get 100% and get all the Trophies and the "best" endings. This level's Gem Route was the killing blow.

You can do it bro, have a break, come back to it at a later time with a clear mind. I had this mindset when it came to the perfect relic for Crash Landed. Took a few days off, came back to it and did it on my third attempt. I believe in you mate!

I can relate, last night I literally broke my controller and rage quit trying to beat the platinum time on Bears Repeating by at least 5 sec, now I have to buy a new controller and perhaps few days off of this stressful game

I chucked the controller in anger after going through this level, completing the gem route and eventually completing the level only to find out i missed a box. Took a nap then went through it again and eventually did it. You can do it too.

Just use your aku aku to spin through the tnt. Thats how i did it

You know after you clear the gem path that checkpoint that you marked earlier becomes a new checkpoint Mark after the gem area is cleared so you don't ever have to go redo that gem area after you've done it one time and completed it. It doesn't tell you this but if you look at the amount of boxes you have if you die shortly after the gem route and you've completed it they will still all be there from the gem route showing that it saved or updated the checkpoint to after you completed the gem route if that makes any sense LOL

There is a bug in this level where if you die after getting the 2 boxes at 7:00, the 2 boxes will reappear at that location and it will keep saying you missed them. I found out about this bug after getting to the end, seeing that it said I was missing two and slide jumping all the way back through the level until I saw that those two boxes had reappeared back. The only work round at the moment is to not die (easier said than done) or my work round of junping/slide jumping back to them. I've reported it to Activision so let's hope they fix it because this bug makes it even harder to get the all boxes gem

4:33 I found another way of doing this that doesn't need a mask, so you can save that for the stupid bouncy box (afaik that works): Jump on the pole from the right side as you'd normally, then drop on to the crate, and then slide dbl jump back to the swingy platforms on the right (that don't catch on fire). I did it first try after watching some vids that did it differently so it can't be that hard.

If you finish the gem path and die before you reach the next checkpoint do you have to redo the gem path or does it make an auto checkpoint like other gem paths in the game?

Overall, the level ain't too hard, it's just extremely long. Long levels can easily make you feel fatigued and more prone to make mistakes, which is why they feel hard. After memorising where all the crates were and which cycles to take (which took like 4 hours, mind), I was able to get the N. Sanely Perfect relic.
