Crash Bash PS1 Crystal Challenges

*ALL CHALLENGES:* Crash Ball: Win without the Extra Kick ability. Polar Panic: Avoid the energy bolts from the beam generator. _Not instant death_ Pogo Painter: Win without stepping on the poisonous mushrooms or you instantly lose. Jungle Bash: Avoid the Nitro Crates thrown from the idol. _I don’t think they’re an instant death plus I think your opponents are immune to the nitro explosions_ Beach Ball: Opponents’ goals have intermittent shields. Tilt Panic: Arena tilts more erratically. Walrus does not appear. Pogo-a-Gogo: Get the most points out of a single netting. Higher nettings replace your previous score. _Arguably the most complicated challenge in the game_ Space Bash: Win without the ability to pick up crates; Stone crates do not appear. Desert Fox: Avoid the bombs thrown from the center. _I don’t think they’re an instant death plus I think your opponents are immune to the bombs_ N. Ballism: N. Gin will only attack the player’s goal. Melt Panic: Win without the ability to save yourself from falling. El Pogo Loco: Ripper Roo’s TNTs become Nitros; win without getting hit by one. _The shockwaves from nitros kill you as well_ Snow Bash: Win with the Slippery Shoes handicap. _Arguably the EASIEST challenge in the game_ Metal Fox: Mines fall from the sky. _Not instant death_ Dot Dash: Win without getting hit by any missiles. Sky Balls: Win without touching any red marbles; these do NOT subtract from your score. _Arguably the HARDEST challenge in the game._ Manic Panic: Start the level on foot. Pogo Padlock: The player can only color squares by stealing them with missiles. Landing on your own color square won’t remove them. Drain Bash: Kicking or Jumping on a ? Crate is instantly fatal for the player. _You can still pick up ? crates and throw them_ Jungle Fox: The totem pole is now a turret that targets the player. _Not instant death AND you can use the totem pole to hit your opponents if you get between any of them and the pole_ Toxic Dash: If the player falls off or hits a sludge drop, they will briefly be slowed down. Ring Ding: Win without touching anyone else’s balloons. Splash Dash: The pistons move faster. _IMO, this is easier than the regular/trophy challenge_ Dragon Drop: The player can only score from the flashing zone. Mallet Mash: Opponents produce shockwaves with every swing. Swamp Fox: Win while avoiding the homing torpedo. _Instant Death_ Keg Kaboom: Win while avoiding the walking bomb. _Instant Death_ Dante’s Dash: Avoid the swooping pterodactyl. _I think it just briefly paralyzes you like a missile_

Pogo padlock is harder then sky balls

Pogo Padlock's difficulty feels more like a skill issue, while Sky Balls feels more luck based since your opponent can change the color of the balls at random.

The only crystal challenge i hate is Pogo Padlock, where you have to steal the colors from your opponents using missiles. I know getting them wont be easy because like the other rule says: avoid stepping on your own color or you might lose them.

Except you wouldn't. You actually can step on your own colour in the challenge.

Same for Coco they can move while spinning, but unlike Dingodile and Rilla roo, they dont move while spinning

It's because I played this on my PS3, that's why it's faster. The Emulation causes the game to speed up to the point where makes the difficult challenges, now near impossible.

Cortex: *stands there laughing like an idiot* Crash: *grabs the homing orb and shoots him* YOU WIN! Cortex got owned. I could never win the crystal challenge of Pogo Padlock. But I do like how it takes place in a back alley. There's neon signs, a fence, steam coming from manholes, and...a diner? What's a diner doing in a back alley? Kinda sketchy....
