Do you need help with how to deal with depression? Say goodbye to depression and learn how to be happy in Marisa Peer’s FREE masterclass
👉 go.mindvalley.com/cNagYv_r
Today Marisa Peer reveals three things you need to know on how to overcome depression. She has worked with many international celebrities who are very successful. However, one celebrity she worked with who seemed to have it all, struggled with depression.
In this Awesomeness Fest presentation, Marisa informs us that even though this celebrity appeared to be successful, his struggles were not due to his depression. It was his lack of self-confidence that made him depressed. She told him to say the following affirmation to himself every day, “I am enough.”
The next time she saw him, he told her that he was completely content and no longer suffering from depression. It was all because of that one line that she told him to repeat, “I am enough.” Marisa lives by this affirmation. Even her own daughter recites it every day and has become a well-known artist. She claims when you believe you are enough, you beat depression and start building your self confidence.

I discovered Marisa Peer about 3 & half years ago, through Mindvalley. At that time, I was pretty much in an emotional chaos, hating my life and myself, having wasted most of my youth and living unhappy. Prior to discovering Marisa, I was also listening to every motivational/ transformational teacher, without distinction and getting even more and more confused, as advices differed from speakers to speakers and at times conflicted. All changed when I listened to Marisa Peer’s masterclass, Uncompromised Life; everything clicked into place. I decided to invest in that program through Mindvalley. It was quite affordable, even to me. I can honestly say that Marisa helped me turned my life around. Obviously, it did not happen overnight. I had to keep focusing at the back of my mind that I was enough, that if I could change the words and the pictures in my mind, I could change my life. That I also had to change some habits in order to become constructive. To cut a long story short, within 3 years, I qualified as a teaching assistant and found a job. This is after 15 years of being unemployed. These 3 little words, “I am Enough” work miracles. Last year, I did Marisa’s quest, RTT, still through Mindvalley and this was even better. It was a like a refresher course to me. The course is also design that you don’t need to spend more than 20 mins a day, unless you want to spend more time and go deeper. The highlight of this year, is when I met Marisa in London at the Best You exhibition. I was really thrilled. She is lovely. What I love about Marisa Peer is that she has time for people. She is warm and funny and caring. She is also very simple and humble despite her fame. And unlike some other motivational/ transformational coaches, you don’t feel you are taken from granted, you don’t feel being sucked into a money machine machine. Marisa is genuine and generous. She really want to help you for the better. She gives a lot of mini webinars free and they are very good. She doesn’t care you are rich or poor, she sees the human in you. Yes, you can see I am a fan. I owe her a lot. And I am sure I am not the only one she has helped turning our lives around, maybe saving us from despair without knowing it and this due to her ability to reach out to people. As I said, my own path took a bit longer than some but it is worth it. It is up to us too to do the work required to change ourselves but with Marisa’s guidance, it is made easier. I do listen from time to time to other coaches but Marisa Peer is my main teacher. My gratitude to her, her team and Mindvalley. Namaste!

After watching this video I decided to test this for 6 weeks by adding a reminder to my phone saying 'I am enough'. I didn't feel any difference at first, however just last week (5th week) I realised that my thoughts towards myself had changed and I was becoming more confident in making decisions that would benefit me. I wasn't settling for less because I was starting to believe that 'I was enough'. I would encourage others to just test it out-I didn't even speak it out most mornings I just read it and continued with my day. It does work.

Ive read and listened to many training in NLP tony Robbins, zig ziglar, Jim Rohn, Og mandino and all of the rest of the field etc. to compensate and change how I feel about myself. You nailed it with this talk...My entire life ( Im 55 ) I have struggled with feeling that I was not enough. This message, technique is so much simpler and easy to practice for the beginner and someone like myself who has never stayed consistent with the above because it is complicated, takes alot of time and difficult to maintain. I am excited to add this to my life and I know it will make a difference. thank you for posting this

@@marijavidmar305 I am sorry for all your loses. I recently discovered MindValley but if you take their MasterClasses, you will be able to apply their ideas into your life and it can change your life in positive ways. Everybody is different but try getting up an hour before the sun rises and discover nature as the sun comes out. Where I live, the bunnies come out at night and the seahawks start coming out as the sun approaches. There's these little black birds that open up their wings that reveal a spot of red on their wings. It is simply amazing. Even though one of them slapped me on the head with it's wings which was kinda funny but nevertheless, nature is beautiful when you take the time to truly look at it. Also, talk to God on a daily basis, he really is always there to raise you up on your lowest days. The footprints in the sand is my favorite analogy that always claims my soul when I'm feeling down.

I love watching Marisa Peer. She is an incredible therapist and teacher. In my experience the two don't often come together. I have had Marisa hypnotise me and after being so amazed at the results I did her training a couple of years ago and like many others who have been lucky enough to do it, it's changed me and my life and the life of those I have in turn been able to help with it. The training is intense and precise and spans 350 hours with exams and ongoing training and support AND really is life changing. As well as feeling the results myself of being hypnotised by Marisa I've seen her change other people in front of us in the training and been blown away by massive immediate change. I really would love everyone to be able to witness this. For those of you who aren't familiar with Marisa and thinking of studying hypnotherapy I cannot recommend Marisa and her training highly enough. I've also met some amazing people and made some amazing friends in the process which is an added bonus and something I really didn't expect. Marisa is so approachable unlike many other teachers and the support from her and her brilliant team afterwards is incomparable and so motivating and inspiring. Every course I've been on in the past has left one to fend for themselves once you leave the course but not Marisa's! What are you waiting for?! All the best everyone. Helen

Oh my goodness, it only just dawned on me upon listening to this that I needed to tell myself this. I have overcome a lot and am deeply spiritual but am a bit of a hermit. I had a very detached, harsh, and volatile mother that I have forgiven for visibly caring so little about me as a child. However, I did not realize that amid all of my spiritual growth and mantras that I still needed to declare myself enough. I am soooooo thankful. Procrastination has been a detriment. Perhaps now my path shall be clear. This is the power of transmutation and choice. It is what a Captain of Destiny would do.

This is off subject but I'm so glad to hear that magazines aren't selling. I stopped looking at those things about 20 years ago and other women acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when I said that they made me pick myself apart. I guess younger women and women today get it. I'm just so happy to hear it. We've got enough to deal with without all of these "perfect" images of people which the actual models in the images can't even live up to. I hope that it gets so bad that they just stop printing them! Profiting off of the same low self worth that they work to create!

I loved this. I know that I am enough, but its good to be reminded of how effective it is and to make sure others are aware too. Also, really loved the idea of making the familiar unfamiliar if it is negative. I distanced myself from some people for that reason (because they were negative - critical and disrespectful) and my quality of life GREATLY improved. I also fell in love with salads and water, something I thought I would never do, by lying to myself initially. I went from thinking that paying $12 for a salad (vs $8 for a burger and fries) in a restaurant is a waste of money, to thinking of the value of being good to myself and enjoying the company of my friends in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. I am down 60 lbs from my heaviest weight due to this change in philosophy.

Marisa is a genius I think. Articulating what we need to remind ourselves of, something we were born knowing and yet we unlearned it somewhere along the way. We have all been beating ourselves up. She is 1000 percent right about magazine sales; I stopped buying them years ago and would not let my daughters look at them because I knew how they mangled our brains. My daughters have great perceptions and attitudes about their figures. Years ago I had a lovely client who was working hard in the gym but was still very unhappy with her figure. She thought she needed to work out more, or harder, but she was really only self-sabotaging with her diet. She could not lose any more body fat. She had reached a plateau. I was her personal trainer. While chatting about the weekend coming up, the topic came around to food and drink. She commented to me that she felt she deserved to reward herself with cookies, Chips A’hoy, and lots of wine, for all of her hard gym work. I was mulling over what she’d said, when she asked me how I kept my figure, even after two kids and a difficult schedule as a single mom. I thought about it. I looked at her and said that, after I worked really hard in the gym all week, I felt I deserved to reward myself by fitting into my favorite jeans or wearing a pretty bikini at the beach. I told her my reward was looking and feeling my best. Her jaw dropped and she said she’d never thought about it that way before. She started thinking differently about herself. The bonus was she realized she didn’t have to work as hard in the gym, she had more success with her eating habits and helped herself achieve more of what she desired with her figure. It is amazing what happens when we make the unfamiliar become familiar to our brains. I need to remind myself this more so that I can try new things that have seemed scary to tackle. We all need these simple yet precious reminders that we truly are enough. Lots of love and success to everyone

The waste of space is the teacher, the teacher's job should be to make a difference in her students. But a positive one. Those words stick to the child's mind forever. Most teachers are there only for the check.
@tyaajathailani
@tyaajathailani 4 жыл бұрын
@@Jaquelyn67 Actually, that is only partially true. The check is not worth it in many instances. The school system is riddled with complexities both subtle and blaring. It is an energetic cesspool of all that is potent outside of the classroom. From the teachers down to the children, what is brought to school each day is the measure of individual experiences amplified. Many of us give as much love as we have within as well as teaching the lessons/objectives. Only hindsight reveals if it was enough.

"I Am Enough" = Chapter 12 Teaching and Learning: A Model for Academic and Social Cognition (on Amazon) and you'll see this quote. Doing international presentations on this concept along with "No Put Downs....Only Lift Ups," I have found that "...negativity abounds as a common social and societal norm that's intertwined with our belief and value systems" (Schiering, 2003). Certainly, I concur with the idea that we are, as we are, enough

After seeing this video I've realized that I did not believe that I was enough for that person to take a selfie with me. Also recently I asked a guy I like to join me and my friends for dinner instead of going alone with him. Now I know that I did it coz I did not feel myself to be enough ! Gosh this lady is amazing !

Thank you Marisa for such a wonderful presentation. "I am not enough" is coming from "comparison". The more we compare with others, we feel that we are inferior or superior. Both feelings are dangerous. It creates stress, jealousy and what not. R.W. Emerson said it well. "Nature suffers nothing to remain in her kingdoms that cannot help itself. Society is barbarous until every industrious man gets his living without dishonest means." You could see that both the society and Nature want us to grow and contribute. The growth model suggested by the Society and Nature are entirely opposite. Society want us to become big achievers. The strategy it uses is to drive us through ambition. When we blindly follow Society's model of growth, we will have power, prestige, wealth etc. except ourselves. On the other hand when we follow Nature's model of growth, we will have a higher level of consciousness (not self-consciousness which is ego. I am talking about the consciousness of your existence), compassion (Love towards other beings) and Creativity (which is nothing but letting the Divine to flow through us. From the idea that God is Love). When we follow Mother Nature's model, there may not be power, prestige or wealth, but we will have ourselves. Now the question is which model we could choose to feel "I am enough"? I personally feel an approach of choosing one or the other is not a good idea. I mean a model of THIS OR THAT model is not a good idea. On the other hand, if we could choose a model of THIS AND THAT (Jenusian thinking), will help us to lead a happier and meaningful life. One of the greatest tools man ever invented is money. That is not created by Nature. In reality, in order to experience any commodity, we need money. So we cannot blindly avoid money and lead a happier life these days. Imagine if we are not paying tax for couple of years! This is why I believe the awareness of these two models and choosing the best from both will help us to experience "I AM ENOUGH" every moment.... I am glad I did my documentary "Innovation: Where Creativity and Technology Meet" (www.innovationmovie,com) based on the same concept.

Thank you so much, Marissa. i've listened to several different videos where you have talks on 'I am Enough', you are a fabulous speaker. Very recently, today in fact listening to this again, i had a breakthrough...the words finally sunk into my subconscious. You see, i've had a song playing in my head from one of my favorite movies (The Greatest Showman) for several days now, it's the beautiful song 'Never Enough'.....today I realized that the Universe was trying to tell me that I didn't yet believe that 'I was Enough' Today and Forever Going Forward, I Am Enough! I would like to put out a challenge to the lovely artists that sang the cover of the song and replace 'Never' with 'I Am' because that is the way that I hear it in my head now. I am so happy and grateful to have had this revelation today, thank you, Marissa. Sincerely with much love, kel

3 things about your brain : you can want pretty much what you want ! 3. Your mind likes what is familiar .. not what is unfamiliar ! 2. You're going to create a new habit ! You are going to love to make what is unfamiliar, familiar !!! You will like what is unfamiliar and make it familiar You will enjoy yourself every day of your life !! 1. You think you are not enough ! You are going to create a new life where you are loved by your parents or (...) , you are sharing good time with them or (...) you are going to think and say out loud or in your mind : I'M ENOUGH ! And 2 months later, you'll see, you will have changed !!! You're going to have a phenomenal transformation ! You are going to write this every where, in your hands, you are going to write it in a book, a journal, even in a mirror !!! You will enjoy your life !!

I get what you mean about lack of quality service in that department. There is certainly the need for training, information and support on psychology, emotional factors, feelings ... ( what makes us humans, the most important factors that influence us yet we are behind in understanding the human brain and feelings ) which is sad. More people need to acknowledge that we exist because of those feelings without feelings we are machines (dead/ walking dead). HUMAN DISCOVERED EVERYTHING TO DO WITH OUTSIDE WORLD BUT NOT WHAT GOES ON INSIDE OF HUMANS MINDS)

Karl :) have you looked into breathing correctly? I know it might sound lame, but breathing correctly is a game-changer. Shallow breathing promotes fight/flight, because our body gets starved of oxygen. Creates panic. Deep, slow, gentle breathing from belly to ribs to upper chest tells your body there's no danger. Your body gets plenty of oxygen. Promotes rest & digest. Also helps if while you gently exhale, you release all tension from your body. Stanford University are having great long-term results teaching breathing techniques to army veterans who suffer with PTSD. There are tons of videos on the internet about the benefits of breathing correctly. Let me know if you want some links :) Good luck buddy, G

Marisa, thank you. What to do in the case of self sabotage. My parents were m-f, 9-5 work-a-day people, striving to keep up with the Jones'es all their life. Both died in their early 60's, my father penniless - lost it all. I swore I would never do that, never work 'for the man', took some strange vow of poverty, have worked just enough to get by, don't work enough to pay much taxes. Mother always said "you can't possibly make a living being a gardener, or a farmer, etc". But I do, barely, I love my life and the freedom I have, but it would be nice to have a lot more money...
