Crash Nitro Kart - Playing as Krunk (Boss)

I have managed to get my hands on this code, that allows you to play as Krunk against himself. The controls are very clunky but here you can see his top speed and boy is he overpowered. It's ridiculous, I can't even turn properly nor boost while playing with him. This only works for the PAL version.

Basically, his stats are TOO good? His speed and acceleration seem to be higher than Velo’s, yet the turning is a bit too high. Yikes. Thanks for showing us!

I might be a little late to this. but do you know if its possible to change specific character stats? I wanted to rebalance the characters so that (Team Cortex has +1 Speed and -1 Acceleration) (Team Trance has -1 Speed +1 Handling) and (Team Velo has +1 Acceleration and -1 Turning) but I can't seem to find an address or anyone online who knows if its possible.

Almost anything is possible, including that, if you're a pro hex editor who has the time to figure it out. The community just recently figured out engine sound and character values. Now you can actually play as any character but kart values or their stats are still unknown. You should request that to HeyItzMatty or BetaM. They seem to know what they're doing more than me.

You can't do all the tracks in arcade mode. There's an interesting glitch you can use with a hack to have all races be boss races haha. Then you can play as him. That's just too much data for some tracks with all racers. If you're interested in the boss race hack let me know and I'll give you better instructions. I'm a pro CTR hacker haha

This code is only for the PS2 or PCSX2. And for a Pal - Platinum (European) copy of it. There was a user called ShadowRunner 2730 who was working on all boss codes but he just vanished sadly.

its been so many years ive translated this code but it doesnt work when i change the end ID of the 000000xx for other bosses. I would absolutely applaud you if you could provide me with a working code for norm

It's real. I figured it out myself years ago. I hacked it on an emulator and man it was hard to do! The bosses don't drive right under player control.
