I, myself, agree with FireAdrix. This game is a lot closer to the original trilogy, mostly because of the crystals, gems, more heavy use of crates, even the more classic design of crates. Hell, later in the game, there's even a detonator akin to Twinsanity, though that's not a part of the original trilogy.

It's so cool how the developers of Crash DS made the game GOOD. I love Crash 3, it's the only Crash game I beat, and the fact that they decided to combine the best elements of Crash of the titans, and the classic Crash Bandicoot games, is awesome!
