I actually got to play this at a Best Buy store and consider me very impressed. Not only have the graphics improved beautifully, the gameplay and aesthetics of the game looks very modern while still maintaining that old 90s charm from the original game. Not only that, but there are also the additional features that are absent in the original aside from the Nitro Kart race tracks (and potentially the story from it, which I’m interested in seeing since I have never seen it before). Also, I get to play this online, which intrigues and gets me pumped because it will heighten competition. It has been almost a decade since I played the original CTR but playing this made me feel 11 again (I’m 19). In addition, I had no familiarity with the mechanics of the game whatsoever except the basics which I intuitively got from my experience with the Mario Kart games. However, after a few games in, i was able to catch on with the boosting mechanic from bouncing and drifting. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun. Looking forward for release.

@@26matrix Claro, como bien dices se aprecian mejor aspectos gráficos del juego, pero creo que su comentario va más al tema de gameplay en sí. Creo que también se deben probar las mecánicas que han estado en el juego original (atajos, reservas, miniturbos, Saffi Fire, etc) y algunos exploits que estaban en CTR para ver si Nitro Fueled es fiel a la versión de ps1. Con decirte que en los foros de ctr ya se están dando cuenta de un feel distinto en cuanto a velocidad o la falta de algunas de estas mecánicas que se utilizan en la escena competitiva del juego (la cual, increíblemente, existe btw, ctr4ever es un gran ejemplo). Igual el juego promete bastante :)

ATTENZIONE, RIVOLTO ALLA BEENOX, PROGRAMMATORI DEL GIOCO. Questo remake è più lento rispetto all'originale, come velocità dei kart tanto quanto la fluidità in se del gioco. Da ciò che si è visto dai gameplay ultimamente non si riesce in alcun modo ad accumulare riserva turbo! Anche chi è riuscito a concatenare una decina di drift non accumulava velocità come accade in CTR della PlayStation 1. Come è stato detto da tanti, ed è evidente, manca il sistema delle riserve turbo, senza di quello non sarà possibile emulare il CTR veloce e frenetico che ricordiamo tutti. Così il gioco sarà legnoso e stancante, poco accattivante e poco entusiasmante come invece è l'originale. Infatti CTR era pieno di dinamica e molto fluido, difficile e richiedeva tanta tecnica... Inoltre questo remake ha dei problemi con i tratti in salita e in discesa. Cioè, in discesa non aumenta la velocità come avviene in CTR ps1, e in salita non si decelera, e ho notato che quando si atterra dopo un salto, si rimani quasi bloccati... è gravissimo Beenox! Così facendo non ci sono le fondamenta del gioco che ha caratterizzato CTR! Mancano solo 4 mesi ancora, speriamo che aggiustate questi terrificanti bug, altrimenti potrebbe essere una delusione più totale per chi ha giocato al vecchio CTR e si aspetta un ottimo lavoro almeno almeno per raggiungere il gioco originale, nonché per tutti i nuovi che cercano esperienze di guida spettacolari! Consiglio: Non farcite il gioco di estetica e dettagli grafici, di personaggi nuovi e di altre superficialità, l'importante è il sistema di guida preciso e dinamico, con riserva di turbo e tutto ciò di tecnico che era e rimarrà CTR!

Tanto per capire.. cosa intendi riserva turbo? Io a ctr ricordo le combo di 3 turbo concatenati che potevi fare ogni derapata

@@davepajo1388 Allora, l'argomento turbo è parecchio controverso e con tante sfaccettature, cioè, lo puoi usare in vari modi, uno tra questi è appunto l'accumulazione del turbo e spiegarlo qui in due righe non è possibile, quindi ti invito per chiarimenti l'idea, a guardare per intero questo video, dove spiega per filo e per segno cosa intendo ^-^ Grazie per l'interessamento e spero che la Beenox se ne renda conto, almeno faranno questo remake a dovere ;) Buona visione. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGKycoqVqsiLepo
