2:12 This is my favorite one. I love the improvements. in the original, coco just blinks (1998 just wasn't capable of complex facial expressions) whereas in the remake she glares at the camera, as if to silently scold the player. It's so good.

Sir Daniel Fortesque could blink in Medievil in 1998, though Coco can't as the model isn't of as high of fidelity as the main models.

Overall, I prefer the PS1 version's style, but there were a few that were improved in the N. Sane Trilogy, such as Tiny' s lions.

Unlike the NTSC-U version, of "Crash Bandicoot: Warped", the PAL version has Crash's iconic "WOAH!" used on death animations involving goats, knight lab assistants, triceratops, pterodactyls, etc.

So in Crash Bandicoot, failure can involve anything from getting sooty, to losing your pants, to getting chopped in half or obliterated at the atomic level.

I always noticed this as a kid. My guess is that maybe it was faster to reuse the animation from the first game rather than making a new one with the newer model.

@@kevinvtoons Funny how they did that and yet they made a billion new animations for this game with the new model. Then again, there weren’t as many death animations in Crash 1, so they probably had to make all those from scratch.

Crash can be killed by all manner of things but vicarious visuons draws the line at him being cut in half for a magic trick gag. 😂😂😂

The remake is actually a demake in most ways. The only game that is an objective improvement over the OG trilogy is Crash 1 which had clunky controls.

Still prefer the PS1. They unnecessarily altered certain things. The didgeridoo on the Nitros, the vaporise in Warped. UKA UKA was much more evil as well.

Os remakes ficaram muito bons e bem bonitos, mas gosto mais da arte dos originais. Por conta do PS1 ter menos cores, elas parecem mais vivas e os traços parecem mais cartunescos

Sin bien N'Sane trilogy obviamente tiene mejores graficos, por algun motivo ciertos gags, diseños, animaciones y expresiones carecen del humor y personalidad estilo Ed Edd & Eddy que tenia la trilogia original. Incluso pudiera parecer que algunos efectos de sonido e interacciones han sido semi censurados, y resultan en ocasiones algo genericos. Esto ocurre principalmente con las escenas de tipo "BORE" 🦈, o en las que Crash es humillado.
