Do you know what happens, when you build up reserves with this technique with less than 10 wumpa fruit and then sometime later drive over a blue fire pad? Does it just upgrade your boost to blue fire and you still have that huge amount of reserves from before?

Also i have went back to the OG CTR to see how it feels and OM MY GOSH! it felt so STIFF!!! Beenox refined this game so well and i cant learn back the OG CTR mechanics like i used to know them.... If you have the engine item with 10 wumpas, you can still spam the accel button if you already have blue fire, so for example, if you get the engine item with 10 wumpa fruits on Oxide Station and you don't have blue fire yet, wait until you hit the super turbo pad for blue fire, then spam the engine item with 10 wumpas, if you have sacred fire or any lower tier boost, the engine item with 10 wumpas does not work and will kill your reserves once it runs out. The engine item that's not juiced up, you can spam it with a few regular boosts or higher.

actually you can do it with the juiced super engine, you need to hit a blue fire pad of equal or higher tier and it will still work with a juiced super engine. this has been in the game for some time now.

I thought this was common knowledge on the internet within the first week it was introduced to online. I used to freaking murdered people on Papu's Pyramid thanks to this thing. It was otherwise quite hard to touch that turbo pad without touching the wall and it allows you to take that shortcut through the grass without losing reserves.

This is such an old technique lol. I hope they never patch it. It's the only use of this item. Without this mechanic, this item hinders you more than anything, especially the juiced up version. I use this technique all the time. I get giddy when I get it on a blue fire track lol.

I've been doing this since they added the super engine. You can also do something similar jumping repeatedly on a turbo pad in some tracks, but isn't really useful, search oxide's time trial without powersliding cortex castle. Is interesting to see some of the weird ways the reserve system works.

Well, you can actually, at Cortex Castle. Just do 18 hops on the blue fire pad while facing the wall and you get infinite Blue Fire.

I really want the Nitro Kart boost gauge to come into CTRNF. :( I know this is more of a remake of CTR than CNK but I've always loved the boost gauge of CNK due to how it's near the center of the screen, making it easier to focus on the gameplay, instead of having to look at the corner of the screen while racing. I doubt they'll add the CNK boost gauge into the game, but I still hope it comes in next update.

Super Engine is the only powerup that hinders players as opposed to helping them. No powerup should have a "trick" to it; it should just do its job and help you.

We'd be better off if Super Engine was removed from race mode altogether and Clocks and Warp Orbs were made more frequent. Just so those of us who are constantly weapon spammed actually have a fair chance to catch back up.

I've never played online mode and I don't have a Nintendo membership, however I did go over to my parents and connect to the internet once and downloaded all eight tracks of the new Grand Prix just recently. I had to get them somehow because I love this game so much. As much as I hate the cheating AI I love the game. But either way I still have never seen that engine and I am in arcade mode, beating all the challenges for all the new tracks

This is extremely old news this was discovered in the back n time Grand Prix and it isn’t really that great the speed from the item doesn’t allow you to stack speed with super turbo pads and you lose it if you get a boost from drifting or trick jumps it’s hardly an exploit if anything it put you at a disadvantage sense your stuck at that speed ans cannot powerslide or get trick jump boosts.
