Ungewöhnlich, dass sowas unter eigener Kraft durchgeführt wird, das ist selten. Coole Aufnahmen, da werden die Kräfte bei diesen Geschwindigkeiten erst richtig deutlich :)

Wir hatten in der Vergangenheit diese Variante des Antriebes schon einige Male geprüft, und jetzt mal 1:1 durchgeführt. Wir sind stolz, dass es so gut funktioniert hat.

Viel hat man nicht gesehen. Ständige, vollkommen aus dem Zeitablauf gerissene, Kameraschnitte zu aggressiver Musik. So kann man das gar nicht richtig auf sich wirken lassen. Beim nächsten Mal besser machen!

the frightening thing is... two cars crashing into each other with 60 kph each might produce a similar disaster. if we disregard the effect of the rigidity of the concrete.

This is only correct in combination with a tank as a second vehicle. If the vehicles are the same, the energy is distributed to both vehicles. For a comparable damage pattern, a second A8 would have to be approaching at 120 km/h.

If a small car and a truck crashes at 30kph, it’ll be the same outcome. Trucks are rigid and will throw the car which was hit backwards.

The frightening thing about it is, that on the German Autobahn (TM) there is always not just one dark Audi, but several which are speeding by with up to 250kph. There are always a shirt or two in a foil at the b-pillar and dim light is missing as standard.
