Another mistake people make is to drive automatic cars with 2 legs, as if they are driving a manual. fir gaadi saamne aati hai aur muscle memory kick in hoti hai aur galat galat pedal daba dete hain

There is nothing wrong in driving with both legs in automatic (wont recommend to beginners), it's much quicker to apply brakes in emergency situations and gives u more control. This technique is called left foot braking and is helpful in hilly areas and snowy roads

​@@kaZZunni You don't know how to drive automatic. Only one leg is used while driving automatic. The reason is that with one leg you are either on accelerator or on brake. While using both the legs you can press both of these in a panic situation. This is why Automatics are driven with one leg.

Sad state of all RTOs in India! In gulf a driver's license is much much higher than your college degree. Not to mention the amount of money you have to spend each time you fail! I managed to get mine in my 2nd try but I had a few colleagues who got theirs after 12 tries and after spending a whopping INR. 250K. And not to mention penalties for offences during the first year of your license.. major offences, license is withdrawn and you're sent for further training! And no matter what number of years you hold a license, 24 black points and your license is cancelled!

I took driving lessons and gained some confidence to drive but i was still a rookie, When i purchased my first car i did not drive it myself rather had the showroom provide me a driver to deliver my car at home, I had a friend sit with me and drive around 10-20 km daily so that i got used to the new car and gained more confindence on it, only then did i take it out alone to drive, driving is a luxury and not a right and it can be taken away, Indian people dont understand this.

Yes you are right bro. In manual something wrong happens immediately clutch is presses and damage can be controlled but in automatic only brake need to be pressed if panicked and pressed accelerator instead of brake then over...

Why there would be any car that is not fit in all respects displayed in the showroom at first place? What about other inspections and their OK certificates? And if vehicle is standing for a long period of time why would be any brake pressure failure? Where was the brake sensory circuits and all safety electronics? Your logic may be true for 90s cars but surely it can't be valid for modern cars adhering to BS6 Phase2 norms confirming all national and international safety standards.

Dont know about ood cars but modern cars in 1 second of engine starting and can build brake pressure immediately. Also newer cars now have electronic motor brake assistance which supply brake pressure as soon as you press start button.
