Horrible track and fence ,, I only ever went there once and saw Tony Sanford loose his life on that poxy fence in exactly the same spot , ironically it was the first race in the second half as Tony had been dropped from the main team and I guess he was keen to get back in the side

Not believing any hype , just the one experience of going there for one meeting , because of the banking it was a strange way the riders seemed to lock into a grove like in ice speedway almost , as allways the banking doesn’t really show on tv , tbh found it fairly processional and boring with the awful thought of what could and did happen in front of my eyes with that horrible steel fence that would never be allowed today .
