BEAMNG NEWS episode 74 Top story: In order to put Tracermobile back in prison, the police had to come up with a plan. Knowing that she likes illegal street races, they decided to organise one - of course a fake one that ends with a spike strip trap! They started secretly spreading an information that the biggest illegal street race ever was about to happen in Los Injurus, and hoped that the information would reach Tracermobile. At the end of the "race track", they set a special spike strip, one with spikes so small that most non-race cars without lowered chassis can drive through it undamaged (except of course popped tires), while sports/race cars like Tracermobile will get damaged! It also looked like a finish line from the distance, so race cars would drive at it at full speed! The race attracted more villains than the police expected, but it was good because it meant they would arrest more criminals! The race ended with a lot of destruction, as you would expect from a spike strip pileup, but this time most of innocent cars weren't damaged. In the end, the police managed to reach their goal of catching Tracermobile, and they also caught a few more unexpected "guests". One of them was Dorifto, who they thought had stopped illegal racing a few months ago, turns out that he wasn't honest with them. Other "guests" were a bunch of dummies with stolen cars. Another one was Darkstig - he either already returned from Italy or was never there in the first place! But without a doubt, the most interesting villain to get caught was OwO-Mobile. Why, you may ask? Because he had escaped the Area 99 prison earlier the same day!! He's the 2nd car to have escaped it after Tracermobile, and he most likely used the same escape method! That debunks the theory that it was some corrupt minister to help Tracermobile escape, because all the corrupt polititians are in prison now! It makes the 2nd theory much more likely: somebody keeps entering the President's room at night and using the prison control panel to help criminals escape! It might soon come to an end, as President Stigman has requested to put cameras everywhere in his room, provided that the footage from them will never be shown on TV (he hates showing his face, he always wears a helmet like Stig in public). It is likely that the villain (presumably Darkstig) will stop entering the room once he sees cameras, and even if not, at least there will be some evidence! All the villains caught today are now in prison, including Tracermobile and OwO-Mobile, but excluding Darkstig because he escaped again. In other news: An ancient, pre-big-war car factory might soon be re-opened! We're talking about the Lada factory - it's a brand that is said to have been very common in an ancient country called Rushia (I hope I spelled it correctly). They won't be producing just 1 or 2 models of cars like most of the small car factories nowadays - they say they will be producing at least 7 of them! That's because they are all really simmilar and consist of mostly the same parts! Their main plan is to produce all models from 2101 to 2107, if the investition turns out to be succesful (so far it seems like it will) they will also produce model 2801 and different body styles for some models, as well as police versions with ancient liveries! Another interesting thing is that another ancient brand, Fiat, has bought licenses from Lada to make cars based on their ones, because many Fiat cars are almost identical to Ladas (pretty much like with Oldsmobile and Chevrolet)! They will be releasing Fiat 124, 125 and 125p at the same time Lada releases their cars, which is most likely shortly after the New Year (of course if the Lada project is succesful, which it probably will be)! If Fiat 125p gets a police version, it would be a good addition for deputy Wreckmeister to his Fiat collection (Fiat 126p, Fiat Uno and private Fiat Panda)! Remote control features are also planned, so we might even see the 125p and 126p in the same chase! Advertisement: *Insert something in Russian and the Soviet Union anthem* Lada. Our car of the future. *More Russian* Yeah, somebody is making a Lada/Fiat car pack (not Automation, normal BeamNG), and it seems pretty good quality despite the models being taken from GTA, at least the collision is decent! I hope Fiat 125p from it gets a police livery like the 126p! I'm pretty excited for it!

They are not a mod, the spike strip is a model imported to the map through the World Editor, it's not public because of copyright (apparently it was taken from some really old map where it was an obstacle) and I have no idea how to get it, all I know is that normal people can't have it. There is another spike strip as a mod on the repository, but it behaves a bit differently and seems to be lower quality, it exploits a game bug which means it might get broken in some future update.
