Matty B. One thing about racing the YZ against the 4-strokes for as long as you have, whether consciously or not, you have definitely mastered the art of getting the power transferred to the ground much better than your competitors. Your pass beginning at 5:55 is a prime example. Way to shred.

Just a tip. I found when it was cold I would get arm pump allot worse. So warming up more before the race really helped.

Dude, I know you said you were gonna start hitting nationals at Thunder Valley, but come out early and hit the memorial day weekend race in Brush Colorado. That way by the time TV rolls around you'll have the jetting and everything dialed, plus you'll be a bit more acclimated to the altitude. Plus that race at Brush has like 700 riders, so it will give you a good opportunity to race against some of the fast locals for a solid purse

Put in the gas tank in front of the AC just sucks in the gas fumes and shoots it out throughout the room. Not a good idea. If you’re gonna have it in the room don’t have it next to what sucks all the air and blows it out through the room that you breathe in all night. Just a little advice.

I’ve just found better results with t2 than c12. I think the only thing that could maybe make me more power as far as VP fuel goes would be MRX02 but it’s a lot harder to dial in the jetting and it’s finnicky so I just don’t mess with it

Two stroke oil is crap ! Use Chevron 10/40 motor oil and never have an engine problem again ! More Power too .

@Matt Burkeen the first few laps, your fingers get frostbite but as the blood starts pumping it all kinda warms up. Here in montana 40 degrees is my breaking point.

@@mattburkeen820 ya them levers just freeze your hands...I wear rubber gloves under my riding gloves to hold in some warmth..it helps but them hands still get cold
