Crashed my favourite RC aeroplane...it took a BIG HIT but will be REPAIRED | OMP Hobby 60" Edge 540

And things were going so well. Not sure what happened here but I'm going to put it down to pilot error. Fortunately these OMP Hobby RC aeroplanes are very strong and can take a relatively hard impact. Some repairs needed but my buddy Trevor is going to do that and take ownership of this aeroplane so he can fly it along with his son, Finn. I've got an OMP Hobby 74" Edge 540 on the way and am looking forward to flying that !

Nice plane and flying, I want to buy this plane PNP version, but I don’t know if it’s better to wait and see if OMP comes soon with a new plane in PNP version that is worth waiting for, what do you think….Thanks….

can i ask what servos you had in this please? website says 27 gram servos which i dont understand?

I guess you figured it out by now 27 gram is the weight of the servo. More important are size of servo, torque and speed. I'd always go for digital servos with full metal gear.

Balsa wood, ply, carbon and kevlar. Already fixed and flown several times! We'll show fix in a future video

Already repaired. My buddy Trevor is highly skilled at balsa repairs. I just gave the whole thing to him. He's enjoyed several flights with it already.
