Great videos guys. Chris, not only are you a genius mechanic and body man, you are also a great cameraman!! Thank you for positioning the camera so we could be right there along with you as you removed and re-installed that rear axle. We could see exactly what you were doing. Rob, nice work on the engine and getting it to finally run. Good project with great content from you gentlemen as always.

Super video guys good to see the fault finding on electronics trying to clear codes and get it running once engine was in. Just goes to show they do not always fire up straight away but shows your gamble paid off. Bonus ending with Chris swapping out rear axle in real time and time lapse was really enjoyable and a clear instruction for anyone wanting to do so themselves. You never fail in providing superb content.

Great video with all the running around chasing parts. The different camera angles were excellent. I don't mind the time lapse on things we have seen many times but more live content makes a good mix. This car will soon be ready for paint and fixing the little niggles which of course are always time consuming. Thank you Rob and Chris for another video even if we did have to compete with the rain.😁👍👍

Putting thing's into perspective. Today something special happened and it served as a reminder as to how far we've all strayed from our origins. I parked up in my day van and spent some time watching vids, as you do. Then I needed to sh*t so I made my way to my nearby petrol station knowing they had good clean facilities. I parked up next a hard top mint 1970'ish Spitfire, in orangey red and It looked good, really good!! The owner was on hand so I commented on his build. We chatted for a bit. He popped the bonnet and I saw a really nice Standard Straight six triple carb motor. It smelled divine. It reminded me of a Dolomite I owned 30 years ago. Sweet!!! The point is this. Where did we go wrong, what's with all that pipe work. It's ugly as f*ck. The Triumph six was a work of Art. That was one polished piece of engineering but this little ford looks a mess. We've Strayed.

It felt like, one way and another, you had to work hard and run about to earn your crust on this one. Still, there was pure joy when it started, at last. Not only started, but it sounded lovely and smooth. I was surpised when Chris went straight into dealing with the back axel, I had missed that as part of the car's issues, but this saw it done and dusted. Nice to see it getting well on the way to completion.
