Corners are one of the best elements of riding. If you're going to ride hot intelligently you do it on low traffic roads and wear gear. Sliding on asphalt in jeans and a t-shirt is going to hurt for a few months. Tires, terrain, time with gear and common sense will keep you on the bike.

I've noticed when I get on scene to an accident the bystanders are the ones freaking out and the person who was in the accident is calm (usually because they're stunned) I hate pulling up out of uniform because then I have to pull rank and usually the person screaming and telling people to help gets all the attention and the quite people who know what they're doing people don't listen to.
