Bro, with some adaptations, this could have a tremendous impact on the mountain climbing/ alpinism community, as we are always looking for ways to minimize the equipment that we take up the mountain. We wouldn't actually have to be carrying an ice axe, once we reach icy conditions in the mountain. If you already did this. Im sure you can find a way to create some retractable crampons as well. This would also reduce the time spent adjusting our gear to go into the ice.

This is awesome, both functionally and in aesthetics. One thing tho, they are meant to stop blades so that they dont hurt you, but you have the "panel" laid on top of your arm, the blades aren't on the side of your arm, so any blade going between them would still get to your flesh, hence its purpose would still be left unchecked. They made the same mistake in the Arkham Knight suit. Just constructive criticism. I could not have done it better than you, but putting it on the side of the arms would allow it to fulfill its purpose Edit: 4:07 Here you see the blades extended, if you imagine a knife going between them (or maybe doing a physical demonstration) it would get to your forearm damaging your Flexor Carpi Ulnaris and Bicipital Aponeurosis (nice biceps btw)

Definitely needs a base, like a vambrace/gauntlet or heck a shin pad to give it a bit of height and structural cushion for your arms. Still like the buckles.
