Yep. It's a 'spiral rope incense burner' or something along those lines. I think they're Tibetan in origin.

I love your idea of the "cement" looking orb for the garden. I have one that I spray painted with a mirrored finish. What I did for my cement orbs, was find 3 different sizes of round glass light fixtures at the thrift store. You put them in a pail of sand to stabilize them, add cement mix, and allow it to cure. Then put them in a plastic bag and break the glass. Beautiful orbs for the garden, at a very low cost. I would suggest oiling the inside of the light fixtures, as in a few places, the glass was hard to remove.

If anything happens to the cooler it would be nice to store things inside like blankets, pillows, or outside for gardening tools & small garden decor pieces for winter. Great find. I'm going to steal your idea of the bowling ball. Thanks for the ideas 😊

We used to have a bowl like that when I was a child. It was called a "Zen" bowl. We had sand in it ( but not enough to cover the spiral) and two or three marbles placed on the sand. The bowl was always kept on our coffee table. 😊 Love your dupes. ❤

Have no idea if it would work, but maybe an exercise ball (its thickness is needed). Make a small opening and spray with foam that expands to fill and firm the shape. Then do your cement treatment. Love the cutting board at the end.

As always, you've given us an excellent cache of ideas (and, not for nothing, it's a pleasure to see someone using decent fabric scissors instead of those blunt crafting scissors!) the canisters look great and I like the bowling ball project--it's chic and simple and they can be very expensive.

Hi Fia for a larger sphere a globe may work I used a thrifted earth globe as a large christmas ornament last year but would suggest to do a coating of spackle or maybe brush on cement something that would add weight and fare better in weather ,as I only used several coats of spray paint that was peeling by end of holiday . I think was a only made of type of thick paper mache cardboard type material. You can also find a tutorial on using a Ballon or ball using on quick crete As always I enjoyed and was Inspired by your tuturial today. Thank you

I did a Google lens search on your odd black pottery bowl. It appears to be an art piece - there are tons on line - inspired by water wheels from what I can gather. It's a beautiful footed art pottery bowl. Good eye!

Black bowl is crazy cool, I hate incense (not good w/ COPD & allergies) but I'd grab it in a second & put it out someplace low so that awesome spiral shows. My fave is the bowling ball sphere, definitely gonna do that one in my new patio garden. Thanks, fun way to spend my Sunday afternoon.
