Goodness me! I wanted to buy this cab because of the lightweight but wasn't really sure about it. Now, I can say it will be a great decision to buy this. It sounds great 🙌🏿🙌🏿

cool, they are very flexible and great for a big stereo spread. Nice rig. I use a Sony DSPV77 rack unit into a fender hot rod deluxe and an old Awa valve amp for stereo in bigger places. Love it. Main axe is a Fender contemporary Telecaster.

Like a wise man once said, in a dinosaur movie,( with great playing), "Tone will find a way".

Your stereo demo with your neo speakers is awesome! I got hooked on the CPB 150. I have four. For practice I "hauled" two of these amps, (300 watts). I used left and right 112 8ohm wedge monitors and stereo pedals. RIG 2: I used a Marshall 900 sl-X 100 watt head with a 1-15 Music Man cab, the other side of the stereo was one Crate Powerblock to a 112 wedge monitor. (why not USE the backup amp). RIG 3: I'm now working to put together a solo act. One Powerblock, (stereo), to a Mackie mixer. A tiny 2x 4" speaker above a 1x 10 cabinet on each, (4 0hm total), side, (Left and Right vocals). Then I will use a second Powerblock for my stereo guitar rig. I may use a Vox Tonelab LE. Altogether the contraption should weigh about 75 lbs including the guitar and cables. The trick is a cool portable table for the amps / mixer near my mic stand, and avoiding hum, with all those patch cords and FX.

G W very cool! As a now 48 year old, who has been gigging since 85, I grew up using real amps and loving stereo or dual amp rigs. It’s awesome these days to be able to get those big lush sounds in way more compact, lightweight form factors.

@@jasonwilliamshuck Your speakers look modern. I'm "hill country" rich with speakers from 40 years ago. Have you ever used two Powerblocks and their loops? Lots of headroom. I have a stereo Morley Volume that pans. I just can't haul and plug in more stuff. I'm looking into a bluetooth wall wart for Christmas. I wasted tape in HI Studios before Willie Mitchell brought Al Green to Memphis. I'm going to subscribe to you.

thank you. i own 2 of these DV Neo 212 cabs, and they are the best i've ever owned. they sound great with everything i've ever plugged into them, and the ultra light weight makes gigging more enjoyable too!

I have a pair also, side by side they look like a slant quad box. ( without the strained back issues )😃

very cool! i typically gig with a 4-space shallow rack that has a Digitech GSP1101 and stereo tube power amp in it that i just use like a head. i plug it into a single cab in stereo on smaller stages and use both of them, sitting side by side on end in a similar fashion to yours, in larger venues/stages...cheers

thanks. i just keep the PB150 as a gig backup or for a quick jam or practice. i have a couple Zoom MS50G units on a PT Nano board and all that fits in the back of my 27lb DV cabinet that i also installed an XLR panel jack and H&K RedBox5 speaker sim DI. it's actually a pretty fun/extremely usable low-cost/low-weight stereo rig i can carry in one trip. even though i own a bunch of other $$$$$ boutique gear, i still jam on it occasionally.

in my experience the send return is never stereo. running right and left outs and I dont believe I will ever get real panning effects, moving from left to right speakers. It sounds nice on the video but is it true stereo through the loop or just bullshit? help!!! I got the y cable but my return from the stereo outputs of my delay are not going into one cable are they? how is this?
@jasonwilliamshuck5 жыл бұрын
you'd have to use the Y cable just on the Left Send/Return (ring to delay input and delay output to the tip.) that handles the send and the Left return. then you'll need one additional cable from the delay Right output into the Right Line IN on the PB) www.manualslib.com/manual/588690/Crate-Cpb150.html?page=6#manual of course, you'll need some sort of modulated or ping-pong (preferred) delay setting to really hear any stereo width. hope that helps.

Have you ever plugged in a big head as a marshall 100 W or so? It works with something like that?
@jasonwilliamshuck4 жыл бұрын
you mean a 100W head into the DV Mark 212 cabinet? i've used it with my old ProValve 2x50 all tube stereo power amp, so yes.
@deadboz60072 жыл бұрын
@Marco Neri Hey, i did with an SLP and JCM 800 2203. Sounds really good. But i would als try the DV Mark Silver. I ve played it at the weekend and it has more growl. Also, i like the Neoclassic.

Nice! How do you loops your delay? I haven’t seen fx loop in the back.
@jasonwilliamshuck6 жыл бұрын
Chris Tan You just need an insert Y-cable that has 2 1/4” TS plugs on one end and 1 1/4” TRS on the other. The send/return is in the TRS jack on back of the amp. www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IPBQ2Q10--pro-co-10-foot-ipbq2q-10-1-4-inch-trs-to-2-1-4-inch-ts-insert-cable

see page 5. it explains hookup. you need a Y-cable for the FX loop. cheap and easy to get on Amazon. Hosa or ProCo. www.zikinf.com/manuels/crate-cpb150-powerblock-manuel-utilisateur-en-37414.pdf
