The Retirement Travelers continue their retirement travel journey as they go diamond mining at an Arkansas Diamond Mine at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. It is the only place in the world where anyone and everyone can dig for diamonds. See if they were able to find the big one!! Afterward, they walk down Bath House Row at Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs Arkansas. John samples the healing waters of the hot springs and they visit the nearby Garvan Woodland Gardens with the stunningly beautiful Anthony Chapel. As the #retirementtravelers, we have always dreamed of traveling, but we never in a million years thought we would become #travelvloggers and start a KZbin channel. But, that is what we did! We work hard every day to become better and create something that others will enjoy. Having a community of friends, old and new, follow our journey is fun and exciting to us.
In 2019, we achieved our goal of visiting every state in the union in our Airstream. We also visited every national park in the lower 48. We are big believers in lists, so of course we plan to see the remaining 12 parks in the next few years.
In 2021, we made the big decision to extreme downsize to just a suitcase and a small backpack, each. We started our journey around the world beginning in Central America. We hope that over the next ten years, we will have seen many beautiful things, made many memories and new friends, and shared the experience with our children and grandchildren.

Y’all are so much fun! We attended a wedding at Garvan Woodland Gardens several years ago. It was such a great setting for an outdoor wedding. We’ve never brought back a diamond from Craters of Diamonds Park, but we have brought back a lot of fun memories from there. Thanks for bringing us along through your videos!

Well, you may not have made enough to fund the rest of your retirement, it was still an amazing experience! Never heard of an open diamond mine - so that was cool to see! Love the time lapse of the bath houses. The dog in the backpack was cute. The chapel is amazing. You are still one with nature there.

We love Crater of Diamonds. It's such a fun little place and the thrill of potentially finding something is always fun. Great "5 carrot" find there! Haha. Hot Springs is a such a great place to explore too. The bath house row is such a neat place to explore and it's cool how people would use the water for healing! That was some miracle water...that had to be a new personal record pace! fun stuff ya'll!

We lived close to that park for years. We only looked for diamonds once. We didn’t find anything. It’s fun though, be glad for a cloudy day. They usually find the most diamonds after a rain

Fun! The gardens are lovely and the chapel awe-inspiring. On my list as well is the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. Someone told me about the Crater of Diamonds a few years ago. That would have been a fun place to take my girls when they were younger. They would have loved that.
