Te Whara is epic workout with a backpack, walk a couple bays north and campsite through the dunes onto a farm with camping facilities and Honesty box. Bike back via road next day.

That is such a cool idea! We should definitely do this as well. Did you dropped your bike off at the campsite first and then did Te Whara?

@@alpine_squad parked car At Urquharts Bay like you guys, up same trail, along Ocean Beach, up over the northern dune then walk along couple of beaches, through the dunes to camp at Jaggers farm camp. Clean toilets, cooking facilities just leave donation. Depart heading SW via the farm road then back via road to Urquharts to finish the loop. You definitely feel the extra pack weight on the steps going up Te Whara!! I’m heading there today for a workout 😅
