Where I come from they call them Crawdads, we use to get 1000S in a stream called bubbling springs creek that goes directly into the ocean in a city called Port Hueneme Ca. There were many signs "no swimming" at that beach because it was a sewer inlet,, this is where you find all the clams...

Bologna, mayo and fresh bread is awesome. Let those guys at mallard bay that an easy fix for those 12' john boats is clear hot glue, never tried other types or colors, apply with a full size butane torch. Clean bottom of boat with wire brush then heat, should be hot enough to melt the glue directly around the leak like soldering copper apply a nice even coat of glue. When coevered pass torch over the glue briefly to smooth out. Let cool and be amazed. I worked with a 12' punt for 28 years, glue and a torch was a neccisity in our fix it box. Pass it on to those mallard boys, you'll be a hero
