Coming out flat is an old sports phrase that it's like the opposite of being in the zone. Physically you are prepared, but mentally something is just off and no matter what you do, shyt just won't go right. In basketball you miss easy shots that you normally make. Just got through the 3rd round, and the ref was incorrect to call that no knockdown. That was a 10 - 8 round for Kava. What happened toward the end of the 6th with the commentary? I don't remember watching a fight (especially this high level) where a minute went buy without a word being said by anyone ringside. Definitely a good sign how Crawford came back after getting knocked down for the first time.
