Wow! I've seen a lot ofCrawfords fights, and this one was hands down the toughest. Madrimov came with it and gave as well as he got. If you gave the fight to him, I could maybe argue in favor of the decision, but I think Bud took the later rounds and Madrimov faded a little under the pressure. I'd love to see a rematch too!

Crawford's body shots and sharp power made Madrimov hesitant, which caused Madrimov to just rely on his right straight. Madrimov was wise to be patient so that Crawford couldn't find a moment to get into 2nd gear.

Madrimov was getting tired while Crawford was still sharp. If this was a 15 round fight, i believe Crawford would have enough stamina to outpoint or KO Madrimov. Madrimov only had the straight and couldn't find a place to land his tricky overhand because Madrimov couldn't set up the overhand by going to the body. Crawford took away Madrimov's body shots.

Madrimov never darted in like he has in every other fight. Crawford also hurt Madrimov a few times and made him clinch and back up to recover. Maybe Madrimov will move on to have a career like Loma.
