My name is Crawford and I’m a farmer.
Being a farmer is more than a job; it’s a way of life. The good days can involve bringing new life onto the farm or sunny days outdoors whilst on others it's dealing with machinery breakdowns and on the worst days, sometimes animal deaths.
Farming can be isolating at times - away from the busy streets and city life - so this platform brings you closer to the inner workings showing the highs and lows and everything in between.
I hope to bring some context to how the food ends up on your plate, from your Sunday roasts to morning porridge and even the tulips on your kitchen table. Hopefully a bit of agricultural education along the way.
This video captures the latest goings on including crop management and our efforts to increase sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

When it comes to cleaning up after yourself as a contractor/technician your job is not done before your finished cleaning up after yourself, unless a costumer specifically asks you not to do so. That has been the rule for my entire carrier, so far earned a lot of street credit and good remarks for doing so.

Get the impression the Fendt has u guys fair smitten 😙😛 they are nice looking pieces of kit looks well on the Stewart bogey. Did u film this pre covid and predict very well 😆 love the views you get canny beat the scenery. In regards to the mess left I can't imagine messy b*stards would get many returning customers. Customers will always mind someone who left a dump at the back of them. Always good to take pride in leaving a space the way you find it or even tidier. Word of mouth goes a long way !

Seems like the top spec claas cebis is close to the fendt in terms of layout and design, I suppose helps they are both German. I'd have the claas out of the two and its probably cheaper too 🤣 great video 👍

Demonstrator, so probably some comfort to be gained with tyre pressures. How much for another spool valve on the back? At least you don't need a jack, stick a block of wood under a Bennet hitch and it will pick the tractor up! 😁👍

@@CrawfordsFarm1 I haven't driven a gen 6 and a 7 series will never be as comfy as a 9 but they are a hell of a tractor. The added bonus being if you can master a Fendt you can drive anything, it doesn't work the other way around 😗😁

I had a 716 on a hedge trimmer for a couple of months, barely needed the slew in the corners, then got put on a 6R and I nearly wore th steering and the slew out! So numb manoeuvrability wise in comparison.

Speaking as Carpenter most trades will tidy up after themselves, it is only the Sparkies who don't know how the use a brush and shovel 😛 The Fendt looks a nice piece of kit 👍

If a contractor left a work site like that on one of my companies projects, they would be given the option to get back in and clean up or the cleaning penalty clause in their contract is invoked. And the 'it was not me' defence is not admissable as they are required to sign over their job site as safely secured and as part of that a check is done on clearing up any waste materials.

What’s the price of the fendt compared to the Deere? When I priced it the 724 was 20k more than a JD 6215
