I loved seeing this video! I spent some time working on a dairy farm on the north island when I was 19 years old back in 2017! I now lease my own dairy farm in California milking about 600 jersey cows! I've been in business for myself here in California for nearly 8 years now, and I miss NZ all the time! Cheers

Wonderful! Spent a year in NZ in 1986 working on all types of farms in the North Island. A great experience that shaped my life (met my wife!).

We toured round the north and south islands about 8 years ago in a camper van. The South Island in particular was very quiet on the roads once away from the big towns, you could drive for miles and not see another car. Good roads, road signs similar to the UK much of the time, there are warnings and advised speed on bends. Occasionally railway lines cross roads without gates, one line shared a bridge with us which was a bit unnerving. The South Island rivers are very wild and untamed looking like some of the rivers in Scotland. North island is busier on the roads, but again the roads are good and there’s even a motorway around Auckland. We loved NZ, beautiful scenery and lovely friendly people, great food too especially seafood on the coast.
