When u vent ur tires, do u put a hole in the tire? Or like I do and take a drill bit and put a hole or 2 on the inside of the rim? I got that idea from the factory adjustable beadlocks from the Wraith 2.2 U can twist the back of the rim off set from the front beadlock and it allows u 1-3 holes to let air escape from the rim

On go-fast stuff, I vent the wheels, but on crawlers I vent the tires-- a leather punch, 4mm holes at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions on the tire. This way if any water gets in, I can spin it out.

As I said about the Hyrax clones-- they're here for a good time, not for a long time. I could see visible wear on them after the first run. But as I understand it, ProLine's Predator compound wears as fast if not faster, and costs 2.5x as much. The Faux Hyrax are definitely the best of the Amazon Clones over time (factoring in rubber and foam break-in.)

I've had good experience with the 4.19 KLR's as well as the 4.3" "Rocks Tyre" that looks like an Interco TSL bogger. Those both seem to have a very soft compound. The fake 1.55 rim Mickey Thomson Baja MTZ's are harder but are still pretty effective for the price. You can get them on really nice aluminum beadlocks for under $50.

Yeah, the "super swamper rocks tyre" that go about $20 a set are great for what they are, one of the better of the Amazon-clone variety tires. But they are absolutely here for a good time and not for a long time, as I saw wear on the outer tread blocks on the first day.
