The sleeve cover is three photo's super imposed on top of each other. My name is Adrian Rogers. I took the photo's in the art work. Two guy's from the band did wonders with the dark room work . I AM THE REAL SAGE. NOT JON SAVAGE. The sleeve was printed after 1990. From photo's taken at Bebside Hall, Blyth in Northumberland. The record in its original card sleeve, dose not fit in the picture sleeve. So it comes as an extra. The sculpture was facing south into the sun. In a dusty bay window. I was not allowed to turn it around to photograph it. I was told it was the only thing they had that was worth anything and they would rather i did not touch it. I gave them the film believing there was nothing of any use on it. I was told I would get a mention on the sleeve, in loo of the fact that they had no money. As you can see, they worked wonders in the dark room to produce this iconic picture sleeve. Which I am now very proud of. ADRIAN "SAGE" ROGERS of the Black Douglas Clan Ashington

I can't really remember why we chose that for the B side. It was a very good live recording as we set out to get a few at a show. Unfortunately we had limited recording machines but got it together for this one - usually we used one in the live shows, a bit like OMD did. We were a bit peeved with the tape speed difference for the A-side though, but it was okay I guess in the end. Warner's got a Factory compilation together again late last year and this time I fixed the tempo & pitch slightly to what it should have been. There's not a great difference, but at least it's correct now. This is their release using my fixes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKCvk2OCopKJeKc

Nope... I discovered this by chance. There's a compilation cd called "House of Dolls", which contains rarities and whatnots. This song is there as well. I couldnt understand why, until I read this on discogs. www.discogs.com/Joy-Division-House-Of-Dolls/release/657645 Note no. 6

If you think about it, it's much similar to how he used to sing in Warsaw's recordings or in the early concerts.

How can you be so sure? If it's because this record came out after his death, it could have been just recorded before, no?
