Crayfish slay freediving around Tairua,Coromandel,NZ

A couple of dives over the last month around Tairua,Coromandel
All filmed on my go pro hero 2 with dive housing

Its a bit further down towards whiti. You don't need to hold your beath for that long that's the beauty of free diving you can go up and down all day!! This was filmed in may and june you tend to get nice clear water in close to the coast when the waters cold and calm. thanks for watchin.

Awesome video mate! Would love to try freediving for crays but i can't hold my breathe for that long haha. Is this part of the coast on the left there as you just head out of Tairua harbour or a bit further down towards Whitianga?

tairua is riddled with paua and kinas i dive there but sadly alot of the paua are under size lol i like diving not far from the surf beach
