We explored the northernmost part of the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. This part of the country is a true fishing paradise for rock fishing enthusiasts. Especially for targeting big snapper and kingfish.
First we went to the Pinnacles out from Fletchers Bay. This is an epic fishing spot and well worth the effort of getting there. Our second spot is called the northernmost point and it's right in between Port Jackson and Fletchers Bay.
Our next destination was Port Jackson and the reefs on both ends. Finally we checked out Fantail Bay and it's surrounding rock formations.
All in all the whole area is just brilliant for fishing. There are countless more fishing spots to explore along this cost line.
