Crayola Drawing Challenge Koi Fish Drawing

Hey guys, i've been seeing a lot of the Crayola drawing challenge videos lately so I decided to give it a try! :)

I use Crayola colored pencils in my bible and they blend really well. I do end up using lots of layers and start off with a light touch.

My poor brain cringed that the Crayola's were not in the right order. I'm that kid that memorised the 24 pack of crayons. That's me being picky though, wonderful video and great editing with the music and voice.

Woe this looks awesome ! I think you did a really good job with the Crayola pencils :) ! I personally use them a lot in my drawings more than my Prisma pencils but that's just my preference lol

+Inuyashalover2216 Thank you! :) Crayolas are good! I just have trouble with blending them, specially blending the white. I guess i'm so used to how Prismas blend that Crayolas seemed more difficult to use for me :p

You're welcome ! :) And I think you did a good job blending them, but that's true they are hard to blend lol. It probably just depends on preference ^-^

A good way to blend crayola colored pencils is to use q tips it works really great you should try it and you did an awesome job

You are so talented. This koi turned out great. Do you use a reference picture or is it just drawn from memory?

Thank you! Some of my drawings are from references, usually if i've never drawn it before I would look at a reference. There are a lot of details that I wouldn't be able to memorize, but after drawing something repeatedly I start to use references less and draw it from memory. This drawing in particular had a reference :)

@@JosueWithContext idk if you'll answer my question but how long did it take you to draw without needing a reference. You see I like to draw the only problem is I draw by copying what I see I can't come up with my own creative thought and it bumps me out i feel like quitting. Any advise?
