That's why teams hated playing them, and how rivalries started.

Least you're honest. I remember when I was a kid, we were like a U9 team, and something happened to our opponent, and the opponents of a U15 or so team, as neither showed up for their respective matches, so we played each other, and it was a straight bloodbath. I was in goal that match, and I was an undersized, little athleticism based goalie, but I was super good at reading plays and where the ball would go, so vs people my own age, I could do amazing things. However, I couldn't even touch the top of the net, so being an elementary schooler trying to stop shots by HSers was near impossible. I think we lost like 14-0. It was a bloodbath.

Although a popular theory states that Thailand (already a bottom barrel team with a total of 3:217 goal ratio for the tournament) intentionally threw the game to allow Korea to win the tourney - which required at least an 80-goal margin of victory. However, either way, that's the score on the books.
