I was at a blowout game when I was in college. No. 16 University of Idaho women's basketball took on No. 1 Uconn in Connecticut. I was in the band for U of I and we lost 105 to 37, but we sure had a lot of fun regardless of the outcome. And the Uconn fans treated us with respect every step of the way.

This was especially heinous because an FCS team beat an FBS team 66-7. 11/05/2016: Ohio State 62, Nebraska 3 (football; both teams were in the Top 10). The following week, Ohio State beat Maryland by the same score. 11/05/2016: Washington State 69, Arizona 7. 01/09/2023: Georgia 65, TCU 7 (football). This was especially heinous because it was a national championship. 02/26/2023: Marist 5 at William & Mary 33 (baseball)

In 2019, Ohio State beat Miami (OH) 76-5. Miami actually led 5-0 at the beginning. The best part was the ending. Lightning in the area suspended the game indefinitely. When they cut back from commercial there was one ref standing alone in the middle of the field and he said “by mutual decision from both head coaches, the game is over”
