you truly solidified my decision to buy myself a piano and begin learning. I was very diligent about saving my money (I just got my first job about a year ago now) and earned enough to buy a nice piano without using all of my savings. I bought a 1988 Samick baby grand (yes it’s my first piano and I’m aware of my fortunate situation where I was able to find a baby grand for a good price especially when just starting out but I did work like hell to get here) anyways I’m ranting at this point lol. Thank you for giving me the push I needed to truly pursue my passion.

I always find your performances beautiful, Tiffany. An amateur's wrong notes are like fingernails on a chalkboard, but the wrong notes of professionals like you are as blissfully beautiful as the right notes, which leaves them unnoticed even after you point them out. 🤔 Always enjoy your GRWM vlogs! Hey Tiffany you should become a Brave Publisher so that we can give you money through Brave. Brave is a browser that blocks ads but instead they have a rewards program where you get paid if you do want to watch certain ads, and then you can choose to give that money to certain website, KZbinrs, etc. There is even an automatic option where you 'donate' every month to the websites/KZbinrs you visit most. I think there are quite some people who have Brave installed and personally I would love to help you this way. You should check out their website, it should be pretty easy to setup :)

Glad to hear that the concert went well. Re encores, a pianist friend of mine says he only ever plays short pieces that he can play in his sleep and that he can vary slightly as his mood suits at the time. He has a selection of 5 or 6 so that he can pick one that contrasts with the main performance and fits with his energy level at the time and matches the audience vibe.

There's no one else in the world who can play Tiffany's Beethoven, and I enjoy listening to you for your interpretations and the way YOU express the composer's music. Congrats Tiffany! Schloss Elmau is a sick gig and indeed a beautifull place, one day I hope to go there too to enjoy some music and nature :) The 18th sonata of Beethoven is such a wonderfull piece too, probably my favourite of the op. 31 set, such warmth in the opening and absolutely joy-filled!

I almost missed my first day at my music consevituire as my test didn't come till 8 am on the day I was supposed to go. I can't go without a negative test if I was ill within 2 weeks. But I enjoyed my day there met so many people and learnt so many things. If you are looking for a career in music you should look forward to these days.

She worries about the algorithm and YT messaging that her video isn't sparking enough interest (= views). What probably happens is that so many people watch her vids at the same time in the first hours after upload that the algorithm cannot keep track and registers less views than in reality. I, for my part, enjoy her videos a lot.
