the tricks were insane but some of the filming was questionable. next part needs to not be filmed on an iphone.

Filming was on point in my opinion. Nobody else has the extent of experience filming andy as Nigel does, he knows what works and doesnt and he takes chances. Everyone has their own ways and things they do with their methods of filming, i dont see a single clip thats "questionable" myself 🤷‍♂️ if its good enough for Andy to look at and say "yes im happy with it. I am confident in putting that in my part", if its good enough for him its plenty good enough for me. Nigel takes chances and risks and films in all kinds of unique ways, using his phone to get footage provides a certain aspect that cannot be captured with other dedicated cameras.

you must not watch a lot of skate videos. the video quality is objectively bad between clips. it's not innovative to use an iphone to film a part. it's laziness because he didn't want to carry a camera which is what he said himself. constructive criticism can be a very good thing, and they might actually make changes in the future, but going around and defending things that are bad encourages it. there's more to a part than tricks. instagram is for tricks. a video part is an art project and that includes the filming/editing.

andy's market isn't skateboarders. he seems to be penetrating bougie artspaces. It's interesting seeing someone push the boundaries of what skating is and can be, and I respect it, but yea corny in general but especially the marketing waves and viral campaigns. I wonder if the idea came naturally or if maybe he looked at people like Hawk, Mullen, Dyrdek or other successful personalities who managed to escape skateboarding
