Yes. I’m so sure. You deserve a Guinness World record for fastest drummer in the world. At about 4 minutes (4:02), when you are playing in Japan, there is a timer at the top. I’m quite sure you’re feet are timed with the hundredth of a second count. I might be wrong. Repetitions per second should be around 100. You play about 100Hz. Which is 100 beats per second. Which is 200 beats for a measure of 4/4 time with 120bmp. This is accounting your feet ALONE! Absolutely incredible! I use lasers for my work, and my lasers are usually about 10Hz. So in 1 second, there are 10 lasers pulses that fire. Your feet alone work about 10 times faster than that. One laser I worked with was about 50Hz. And your feet should still be about twice as fast.

Or it’s 50Hz. Which is 50 beats in one second. 100 beats in a measure of 4/4 time with 120bmp. Your feet are so fast they would probably need to have a high speed camera to count how many times your feet and hands actually make contact with the drums within a second. I would LOVE to see that calculation!!

several questions: 1.) what do you do to save your eyes because of the light shots on a concert? 2.) did you ever geht problems with your feet/hips because you hit the pedals too much? 3.) do you have "the right" to say "I'd like 2CELLOS to play this or that song" or do the others say "Dusan, that's our next song. Play it!"?

1. I mostly just don't see what's going on but I get carried away so I don't notice much anyway 2. Yes, my feet get regular inflammations if I play loud and fast but it goes away with routine 3. We don't really put much thought into what's the next song but we try things out and look for what works with drums best. If the effect is powerful then it's on. Usually I add drums to what they already see works on cello. Not all songs are cello and drum friendly :)
