I've been a UFC and MMA fan for well over 15 years now, I loved it when Dan Hardy came onto the scene. I just felt he had such a UK approach to fighting, which was fighting not hugging. I dare say he was also the first to fully embrace the energy Bruce Buffer delivered when announcing his name. Only when Volk withstood Ortega's submission attempts was Dan Hardy's escape from GSP's submission attempts bettered, just the look in Dan's face of 'this hurts like hell but I ain't quitting' still lives rent free in my mind. Dan was and still is a legend, glad we have you now Arnold. I hadn't pieced together your annihilation of Dan Hooker was a throwback to Wanderlei but now it makes perfect sense, I hope you get chance for a moment like that again in your future 👊

I remember seeing Wanderlei and just being blown away that it was a sport! Followed GSP very closely through all of his fights. That Stann v Wanderlei has always stuck in my mind too, crazy sequence there just dropping eachother repeatedly!

Great video mate, really enjoyed it ❤ Also I couldn't agree more about wanderlei silva, I think every so often in combat sports we get a fighter that is just truly terrifying from appearance alone and then they'll get in the octagon/ring/mat or whatever and have the skill and brutality to match and I think wanderlei definitely ticks all of those boxes 😂 PS: It would be really cool to see you react and break down some of the oldschool and newschool fights/crazy moments in combat sports (like old pride fights and old ultimate fighter clips), I know youtube can be quite strict with the copyrighting and all that but I know there's a lot of free fights and stuff uploaded to youtube that are all good
