Sociopaths simply don't think like normal people and their grandiose sense of superiority over others causes them to ignore a lot of self preservative things that any normal person would do if they got away with something , like laying low for their own good after a close call. They truly believe that they are above needing to think that way, and want people to know it...that's one reason why they do things like taunt the police when their trail goes cold, and why OJ wrote a book titled "If I Did It" rather than just being happy he got acquitted of murder like any sane person would.

Also the sentences are usually light for first time offenders of the crime being charged, so don’t think he’ll receive anything more than a probation or 3 years at best. The Korean people were quite respectful and patient with him, until they realised that he was making a mockery of their kind nature. I don't blame them for making an example out of him, they gave him multiple, multiple opportunities to tone it all down and show some respect, which in my opinion, the Korean people deserve respect, if not for anything else, for their patience in dealing with him. They don't want to encourage tourists to come to their country to disrespect them. No country wants to encourage that behaviour.
@Frzned9x2 күн бұрын
At 4:30 the police came up to him and says in broken English. You can hear keywords like "face" "assault" "recording" and "go home" in a really nice tone. I don't think they were threatening him at all. They actually were warning him to stop streaming or people will find his location and assault him and it's best he goes back to america. And then gave up and say "just go". If they actually wanted to do something to him it would have not been so calm at all.

He obviously didn't understand how Korean's sincere hospitality can rapidly change into sincere hostilty once you cross the line. For people how don't know, Korean society is very keen on justice, so if you show disrespect to others, the others will disrespect you the same and no one will stand up for you because you deserve it. That's the way how such hospitaltiy works in Korea.
