Funny enough, there's a fan-made PC version of Somari as well. The PC version is based off of the version that has Sonic as the playable character, and is essentially a port of all the levels into the Sonic Worlds engine, so it acts and controls like an official Sonic game, while keeping the same level design, music, and graphics of the NES Somari. It's actually really fun to play.

My favorite Sonic Bootleg is Sonic 4, not to be confused with Sonic the hedgehog 4. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is an officially licensed SEGA game, Sonic 4 is a weird Nintendo Loyalist bootleg where Sonic pledges his loyalty to Ninyendo.
