We are getting unloaded and reloaded in Laredo Texas today and it is crazy town all over the place. We get held up at an intersection and watch trucks bounce off of curbs. Thank you for watching Music by Epidemic sounds

Does this channel have a lot more advertisements or it just me?
@truckingwithschmidt71203 жыл бұрын
I'm wanting an answer on this one to? I don't know why it would vs others, but im curious.
@rae1957tn3 жыл бұрын
Yes I guess he needs the money it costs a lot to live on the road. I’ll watch the ads because trucking is a hard life
@jasonjansen99743 жыл бұрын
This particular video goes hard on adds, but not nearly as much as usually...no problem too me tho
@hewhohasnoidentity43773 жыл бұрын
The ads are based on the individual viewers behavior. If you haven't watched KZbin for at least a few hours you'll get an occasional preroll ad and nothing during the video. If you have spent a while watching videos you will get more ads. Eventually you will have ad breaks every 20 seconds. Viewers can skip ad breaks by turning off autoplay, skip to the end and then replay. No ad breaks will play during replay. Otherwise, I use KZbin Premium and I don't get ads. The content provider gets a % of the revenue based on what I watch.
@chuckwhaler3 жыл бұрын
@@hewhohasnoidentity4377 Thanks so much for the explanation. I knew none of this. The reason I get more ads on Schmidt, is because I watch a lot of KZbin and particularly Schmidt. I like Schmidt and will continue watching. Just needed to understand. You have helped a lot.

Awwww the doggo is Soooo cute ! I love to see truck drivers with their pets. It’s so warming to the heart and makes me more at ease knowing they have someone by their side. Blessings to all those truck drivers.

I love Laredo. Best tacos I ever had there! However, being a truck driver there is TOUGH! There are tons of trucks there, and finding a place to park is next to impossible!
@z-z-z-z3 жыл бұрын
there is a ton of parking in laredo, if you include the streets in the industrial areas; very trucker friendly.
@la2toronto7893 жыл бұрын
Very trucker friendly, I’m happy my city of Laredo doesn’t bother truck drivers. Pretty much you can park anywhere just stay safe and close doors! 😃 id recommend staying close to other trucks. Usually plenty of trucks bobtail at the Walmart’s. 😃

I was looking for my usual KZbin sites and ran across you, we were just there in Laredo last Thursday the 25th, we arrived around 6:30 at the Columbia Bridge, we live in Mexico, retired there 5 years, we were on Mines Rd, lots of trucks and traffic at 7:00 ! It was crazy, all the trucks! We had come from our city where we live, usually a 9 hour drive to Laredo, it took 12 hours due to a horrific accident involving 7 18 wheelers that were totally abliterated by fire! It took us 3 1/2 hours to go 5 miles! We finally made it to Laredo where we went to get our first Covid vaccine! We are originally from the DFW area! Be safe out there! And yes Laredo is a busy place!

Yeah, my many Laredo experiences, all crazy! But then it's Mexico pretending to be the US. There was a time, not that long ago, that if you were in Wichita, Kansas territory and south of the Arkansas (pronounced Our Kansas) River, you were in Mexico territory. It's just a bunch of lines on a map, eh? Ha! Yes, the food trucks are good. But the best thing about Laredo is LEAVING! Yes, hwy 75 is how I often get down there from Kansas and back when I go to Texas or Oklahoma. I've got friends who ranch N of Yates Center off 57 and it's very pretty country. Anyway, Safe travels, Schmidt!

@odd-one-out44093 жыл бұрын
Note- if you’re on mines road(fm1472 ) heading south from Columbia bridge - perhaps to 35 or bob bullock (loop 20)- traffic is terrible and can last about an hour. If you’re exporting you can stay on the right lane, but if you’re not I suggest the left lane. Try to avoid around 6pm everyday cause you will be stuck there. “Except weekends” weekends are nice and breezy. 🕊

My guy big fan and as a Laredo native and a truck driver down here it gets messy for two reasons Mexican drivers who get paid by each time they cross and not the mile/hour... and it’s the biggest inland import export site in the country so billions of dollars just cross every couple of hours or so things get messy really quickly

Holy cow. You actually got an actual parking spot at a Texas rest area on the 35 ??? Wow. And just south of Fort Worth. !!! You need to buy a lottto ticket. Hahah. Have ya ran the 81 from Salina up to York Nebraska then east on the 80 into Omaha. Not a bad 4 lane. I-135 goes south from Salina KS and the 81 Is the north side. Basically the 135 is the 81. I am sure you have ran it a million times.
