I'm an asc Reyna main and I dont think he's even close. Personally I think his aim is pretty fitting of Gold, but that aside, even if he did have high elo aim with his Gold game sense, he still wouldn't make it out of Plat. Even if we take game sense and move it down to just fighting sense/fighting IQ he's so far behind an asc player that he wouldn't be able to compete. Take a look at 8:04 where he throws a flash and doesn't wait for it to bloom before wide swinging. Multiple issues here, first, if you main an agent you should have a very strong understanding of their abilities. Reyna is easy because she only has one fighting ability, and it's a very simple one because it's only rule is it has to bloom before it blinds. All high elo Reyna mains will subconsciously know to wait half a second or so before swinging with their flash because it falls within their game sense. In the same fight, he wide swings with his crosshair close to the wall and didn't stop at all to re-clear window or the wide angle when he's swinging into uncertain space, again just a huge lapse in game sense that really good aim won't make up for. 9:05 he chooses to go stinger on a light buy vs a full buy, then proceeds to back up to graffiti to open himself up to 3 angles at a distance that's disadvantages regardless of which one he gets a fight from. At 10:49 he holds an angle that you would assume is clear because the spike has been tapped twice and there's been no movement nor can you see the gun sticking out. Any high elo player would realize subconsciously that the reward of being able to Swing with your Clove and guarantee a trade is greater than the very unlikely risk that Jett is still behind that box waiting for some reason, and in addition I'm pretty sure cypher saw the enemy Jett which means if he was looking at his map (since he wasn't first in line to take a fight) he would have been able to swing with Clove without ever stopping to clear the corner. Other easy to fix but vital mistakes are things like getting little entry value on attack because he's dry swinging common angles at the start of the round & dying without value a lot due to things like not clearing common angles or calling for team utility to do so with. In addition, being slow on his attack flanks and stupid with his defensive ones (12:27 choosing to flank with a judge). He's also quite a one dimensional player which leads to unfavorable fights since he's so easy to read his opponents will be able to accurately hold for them. All he really does on defense is hold a site from a common spot (Back site on A) or slow flanking if his site doesn't get hit. Very little diversity, easy for enemies to plan against and get favorable fights off of. Basically, his fight IQ is so unbelievably low that even if he had really good aim he would probably still be gold or plat. However, in my opinion he's a very average gold aimer with a bit more confidence which leads to more engagements and thus more kills than the average gold Reyna. In which case I don't see him being under rated at all at his current RR. Regardless of whether or not his aim is good, he loses his team too many games due to his low fight IQ that he's in fact just another gold player.

This gold during the game was cooperating extremely well, was playing with the team when we asked, and overall wasn't actually egotistical. Who needs one tap aim? Also, "average IQ?" bro he plays in gold lobbies nobody in that rank plays conforming to "high IQ" plays, he doesn't know much about how higher rank players play yet, that comes with time.
