Another awesome find, Parker. I was born in '64, so none of these things look that old to me. Judging by the letter on the table, it appears that Adel's mother wrote it, and Adel was not well. The sell stickers are what is done when someone is going to do an estate sale. I wonder if Adel is still hanging around the old house? Nice opener. You are getting much better at editting. It's great to see you are still exploring. Be safe.

Thank you for doing the long, slow pans across the room, and for freezing on objects so that the viewer can analyze and absorb the scene. Also, thank you for not yammering or making obvious observations! Great work!

That was creepy and old. I bet when the person left that house friends or relatives were supposed to sell that stuff and do what you want with the rest. But no one ever came to take care of things. That's family for ya.

Nice intro, I agree. Vandals are ass****s. There were some cool things there. It is too bad the heirs or family or friends, didn't care enough to finish their sale and save the good parts and clean out the house instead of the vandals getting to it. It must have been awhile considering the mold and damage so I doubt they are coming back. Must have been a nice home at one time.

Awesome video Parker! The writing on walls seems like local kids. The letter is definitely older style of handwriting ❤ Maybe after the owner passed, relatives labelled things for sale, yet never bothered to come back. Sad to see these gorgeous houses and items fall into states of abandonment.

If there is one thing that I have learned from all of these abandoned house videos it is this: Straighten up your home every time, before you go out. You never know when you will die and some stranger is gonna come by and show your house to the world. LOL. But seriously. I'm fixinto run an errand and I'm straightening up my house as soon as I finish typing this!

this house has been rebuilt top to bottom lot of time and money spent on it over the years as I told my kids everything belongs to someone ! far as Sarah she needs attention , like those with their radios cranked up all the way . yes all you see looks old but it was used by your parents and grandparents in a blank of an eye you're old and yesterday I know how time fly's , I'm 68 now and still remember when I was 2. and your body gets old but your soul and mind pretty much stays the same , forever young ! my house is old 32 ached windows 16 doors 4 layer thick brick walls heated by entricate pot belly stoves 140 years old ,cast iron bath tubes ,surrounded by 140 year old planes . stage coach used to stop at front porch in the 1800s.

It puzzled me too. I finally decided it was obviously built in 1965 and then repaired with older material. I know that in the 1950s people would sometimes tear down an old house and use the odds and ends to build a smaller home or a shed, etc. The handwriting in that sad letter was obviously that of an older person. It looks like handwriting learned in the early 1900s.

So eery, its like the people up & left & then stuff was just shoved here or there. Piled even. Yet they were planning to sell stuff in the home. & there's an old letter on the table... weird. Its like it was left to just rot, maybe after a death of the owner, maybe it was left to someone & they were gonna sell some things in the home & prob the home itself but then it just ended up getting left behind.

Barbara Power ...From what I could decipher- My dear daughter... it went on to say she was sorry her daughter wasn't doing better and by the end of the page it said there was money and it's not much but should help a little with the kids and all... 2 of them I think it was... I really wanted to read the next page... The hand writing was pretty messy and hard to read... I also didn't notice any punctuation marks... I think this was Grandma's house and the family didn't know what to do with all her stuff when she "departed" except try and have an estate sale... So many cool things left behind...
