Today let’s do more of our reactional-educational videos. We’re going to watch Kaos Riders Crazy & Unexpected Crashes today. I’m quite sure they are crazy, but it remains to be seen if they are unexpected. Just like last time we will watch a clip and then talk about what a rider could do differently to avoid the crash.

🏍️🏍️🏍️
On Moto Control channel you will find videos about motorcycles, motorcycle riding techniques, tips & tricks and online motorcycle training for beginner and advanced riders!
A little info about me. My name is Andrei Bodrov, originally I'm from Moscow, Russia, and now I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Back in Moscow I was a motorcycle instructor and creator of Moto Control Beginner & Advanced motorcycle rider courses, which quickly became the most popular courses in Moscow (well, at least the advanced one😁). My advanced training course makes emphasis on slow speed riding techniques at first (such as good clutch and throttle control, proper riding posture, proper use of vision, etc.), then proceeds to more advanced techniques (such as aggressive braking, trail braking, maximal lean angle). The course incorporates a lot of exercises from DOSAF slow speed riding (similar to police rodeo like motorcycle training in USA), braking and cornering exercises and motogymkhana style riding. And now, since I actively learn English - I decided to post some useful videos for both your and mine practice!😉
🏍️🏍️🏍️
Since everyone writes this, it's necessary, I suppose 🤷, so here we go. Disclaimer: Ride at your own risk, you are responsible for your own safety. Me, Andrey Bodrov and my channel, Moto Control disclaim any liability incurred in connection with the use of riding techniques from this channel. Use common sense, wear full protective gear and ride in a safe and predictable manner!

@mannyechaluce3814 it happens to cars even more than bikes. You don't have to be invisible to get hit. I'm saying that it's a common accident because people only pay attention to where they want to be. Who's blaming the world? And who's trying to not take responsibility? Maybe you shouldn't drink before you post. Or try reading all the words, not just the ones that confuse you.

I have heard other content creators say that watching bikers crash is stupid and pointless! But my response to them was: When MotoGP racers crash, the riders team studies the video footage of the crash to see what went wrong with the motorcycle and/or rider, or if it was an issue with the track having debris etc! If they need to correct something, they can based on the video footage! Not every single crash can be avoided, but learning from other riders mistakes can help me to improve, because all it takes is one slip up or mental lapse and I will have a screwed up day!!

The rider who stopped for the pedestrian could have flashed his brake light a few times before stopping to warn the car behind him that a stop or slow down was imminent. Some States in America mandate that vehicles must stop when pedestrians are in the crosswalk. It’s the law!!
@raoulrr
@raoulrr 5 ай бұрын
The problem with that rule (and many others) is that it's never enforced, so it's like it never existed. The only thing cops do is speeding tickets, they don't enforce any actual safety rules (like not using turn signals, driving with no lights at night or with high beams always on etc.)

Yes, try and stop (and flash brakes) ONLY if you know 200% ahead of time that it will be all good. This is why I do NOT stop for pedestrians. The situation at 10:00 is pretty ridiculous if you look at how American infrastructure treats pedestrians. I live in Las Vegas and there are these kind of signs (some have yellow flashing lights but others don't like here) in 6 lane boulevards with a median and a 45mph speed limit where cars easily go 60mph. Somehow the city planners thought that is a good idea.

@@Simon-fm8yc Most or all professional racing riders have fallen plenty of times, so according to that reasoning they are in dire need of practice as well. And I haven't expected any of the falls I've had because otherwise I would have avoided them. Plus, I've had only one serious crash and even that one didn't result in any noteworthy injuries. If you ride as much as I do - and throughout the entire year in a snowy climate as I do - crashes are nearly inevitable, but you can avoid serious crashes, and I've been pretty good at that. And by the way, many of my crashes have happened during practice

*Nature abhors a vacuum. Motorists doubly so.* Empty space = lane change, always.

The dude that got rear ended at the pedestrian crossing has god-tier level of restrain and self control... But also I agree with your commentary, I like to stop at these yield lines too, mostly to help show that bikers aren't asses, but I ALWAYS make sure I'm not gonna get rear-ended before braking! Just like you said, most people don't stop...

Anyone who gets hit while lane splitting is at fault. They’re the one’s overtaking and not keeping a lane. The driver sees two cars in two lanes, why should he expect anything speeding inbetween?
