Wow! What a video!!! When this video first started, when it first came rolling by, I said to myself, " Oh, it's just another jet ". But as it turned and stopped, and was getting ready to take off, I thought, " Let me see it take off. And after it did, after it went up and turned and banked like that, I said, " Uh oh! This is not just going to be another jet plane "!!! And from that time on after it took off, I was smiling so big, all of my teeth were showing! And I just had to stop it in the middle of the video, and come and write this from the joy of seeing for the first time, this jet I never seen before; > A Hunter Jet!!! This video made me smile just as much as all of the big famous fighters, and that's a lot of smiling, when it comes to me, because I love me some Jet!!!! 🫠 🙃 😍 😋 😀 🥰 🫨 😄 🤩 🤪 😄 😲 😅 😁 🙂 🤩

Well...looks like I finally found out where the sound sample used for "generic fighter jet" in EVERY cartoon, anime and series from the 1970s and 1980s came from! Who remembers Starscream / The Seekers making this exact sound in Transformers G1?

One foggy morning in California 's Channel Islands i could hear a jet spooling up that i didn't recognize. I'm retired usaf and have been around airports my whole life and know most planes by sound. I later heard that contract Hunter's had been flying out of the naval base there.
