Marcus has been a pro musician for 15 years. He’s the current frontman for Ten Years After and the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion and has performed and learned along the way with guitar icons such as Van Morrisson, David Gilmour or Ronnie Wood.
He has released three solo albums which were named in Classic Rock magazine’s ‘albums of the year’ upon release and had a lot of radio play and press coverage. Ha has also toured with people like Robert Cray, Chuck Berry, John Fogerty, Beth Hart playing festivals all round the world including SXSW in Texas and 2 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruises in The States.
In this course, Marcus shows you interesting rhythm guitar ideas because let’s face it thats 70% of the gig and if your comping isn't happening the whole band knows about it! He helps you combine certain techniques to make your playing not only more competent but also allowing you to find your own voice.

If you want to learn to play Mississippi John Hurt this is not it. This is strumming, not finger style like the classic country blues. This is some guy creating his own thing using different sources. Nothing wrong with doing your own thing, but if you want to learn it right you need to study the original source recordings first.
