Glad to see you had a fun time James. The water look so stunning 🩵 Too bad Kawasan Falls is still closed due to typhoon Odette. The jackfruit is delicious. You can eat ripe just like what you had. When it’s not ripe, it can be a dish cooked with coconut milk. The seeds are also edible when it’s cooked. Hope your ankle is doing ok? I wonder the next adventure will be? Have fun and take care 🙏

Thanks Amalia, the ankle is just fine and it won’t stop me from making tracks on my adventure - there’s a city with an amazing history coming next 😉 I enjoyed the jackfruit, but I found a new favourite the other day. I don’t know the name of it but maybe you can help me with that when I get the video up?

Alegria canyoneering is fun, but that canyon stretches out for miles more than where you stopped. Goes all the way to Badian where some of the bluest pools are at and ends on Kawasan falls.

120 for 1 rice, 1 chiken and 1 vegetable. lady scammer. here in the city that meal would only cost 70. sad to see my fellow filipino does this tactics

She was an honest lady who (like many) was working hard regardless of whether or not she had any customers. Her food was tasty and seemed healthy given all of the fresh ginger and chilli - more so than similar foods (whether street or restaurant) that I have tried whilst in PH. 120 was a fair price. I was charged 100 for the equivalent whilst at a coach stop, and indeed recall paying around 80 in the very early days somewhere, but I don’t recall the quality or convenience being as good. Anyway, there was nothing dishonest about her, her food, or her prices. She’s operating across the road from a canyoneering centre - tourist hotspot - and could just as easily have been churning out rubbish food at higher prices. And to say she was open to feed me this at 7am - fair play. Try not to be so critical of others 👍

@@InvestedAdventure well you can say that since your money is in dollar, way too powerful than our peso, but for me and the rest of the people here in the city ,120 for that set of food is just OVERPRICED. and dont ever think our food here in the city does not have any ginger or chili, food quality here in the city is more better than the provinces... off course she had to be nice to you, because she is charging you twice the price. and FYI she did not open her shop just for you, she had to earn a living🤣
