I absolutely love the pillow top 60/40 couc... er bench seat in my '78, but I'm actually glad it's not that Mojave material! I've never heard the "buttless" deal. In reality, the 78-80 Monte Carlo had a more pronounced issue with it. Though I don't see it as being that much of an issue, I found a way to help out the side profile and rear quarter view! I happened to have a Monte SS trunk spoiler kickin around and one day I got the idea to fit it to the Cutlass. After some modifications and matching paint, it looks like it could have originally come with it.

I had a 78 Cutlass with the 260 V8. It was the slowest car I've ever owned. I installed a 350 engine from a 1968 Cutlass. The car would smoke the right rear tire for a block. Eventually shredded the THM 200 transmission. Later the rear end broke.

Ok, so this video is on the '78 Olds Cutlass- so why is there a similar vintage 98 Regency in the thumbnail?🤨 Still an Olds, but a totally different model. Edit: they changed the Pic to a Cutlass as of a few days ago.

@mancavechannelcars Hey, no problem. Maybe do one on the 88 and the 98. We had an '82 98, and I still remember that thing. Slow, but it was essentially driving a couch with those pillow top seats😁 It didn't look too much different from the late 70s model shown here.
