I was strolling in Samarkand to see The Russian Orthodox Church. A Christchurch in Muslim Country. To let you know the fact, in this country, hardly any Muslim Attitude is experienced. The country is liberal. The country is extra clean. The impression we Indian carry about Islamic Country are no where to seen. We had seen pre wedding photography session on road - when I asked, is this Christin marraige? - they said no - this is modern Islamic marriage. I was stunned.
While waiting for taxi just next to small supermarket, the Uzbek noticed our presence and started singing Raj Kapoor song. I wanted him to go crazy, so I joined him. It was fun altogether.
I was thinking about Mithun , Amitabh, Shaharukh, Raj Kapoor. These people integrated the whole world thru their art and music. Let’s applaud them. Music is beyond religion.
